I can’t tell you how much I love a full midi skirt. I love how they easily pull off that demure lady like look, and best of all, I love how there are plenty of different ways to wear them. Wear them with crisp collars and pumps for a polished look or work a more playful angle by teaming them up with a cute graphic tee like here, or even a plain top making the full midi skirt do all the work like here.
I found this fabulous black and white full midi skirt online at SheIn(Sheinside). I was immediately drawn to the abstract pattern and of course, the price was definitely in my price range of $19 after a 30% sales discount. Ok, I have to warn you though, that I have ordered items from SheIn in the past. It definitely is a hit or miss when it comes to the quality and the sizing. So, while I was excited to get the box in the mail, I was also crossing all fingers hoping that I would not have to send the items back.
Of course since I am showing it off here means that things worked out! This full midi skirt fit perfectly. It even has a lining underneath which was a pleasant surprise to me. Perfect length, fit, and material, and of course — the price! Let’s add this to the score column.
This is the first time I am rocking a full midi skirt with a collared shirt. To be honest, I was hesitant at first. But when in fashion doubt, I always turn to Pinterest. The amount of ideas and inspiration on Pinterest is unbelievable. After seeing how many other fashionistas pulled it off, I decided to give it a try. I thrifted this red and white pinstriped Ralph Lauren high collared shirt from Goodwill in San Diego for $5. While I have a good number of pin striped shirts, I was drawn to the collar details and the middle ruffles of this shirt.
The subtle details even continue in the back. This was such a great find at Goodwill. But then again, thrifting is all about those great finds at the amazing prices.
I completed the outfit with these cap toe red and black pumps that you have seen here before. These ShoeDazzle heels also came from a San Diego Goodwill at the perfect price of $7.99, but even less after a military discount.
