These cropped, wide-legged trousers, also known as culottes are back! I remember rocking culottes and palazzo pants years ago, and don’t know why it ever went out of style. Culottes, were by far, the most comfortable and easy to wear pants, ever! Spring and summer 2015 brought back the culottes trend with a vengeance. If you didn’t get to try them earlier this year, don’t worry, because the trend has stuck around for the fall, and are perfect transitional pieces.
Culottes look really chic and classy, but are also amazingly comfortable. I had a pair of culottes on my thrift wish list for months, but simply had no luck finding it at my favorite thrift or consignment stores. However, I am not opposed to finding deals every and anywhere. I finally found the perfect white culottes online at Boohoo.com at an awesome clearance price of $16. I would be honest with you, I wasn’t very sure what I was going to get as I had never really bought anything from this website before. But, for $16, I was definitely willing to give them a try. I am glad I did. The culottes were perfect.
Culottes are versatile enough to be dressed up to create a business-casual outfit or dressed down for a casual day look. This fall, you can take all your favorite pieces such as scarves, jackets or sweaters and pair them with your summer culottes.
Here, I paired these culottes with this beautiful off the shoulder silk top. The large petals caught my eye while I was thrifting at a Goodwill here in San Diego and I immediately fell in love with it when I tried it on. I paid a fabulous price of $5.99 for this top. Can’t say this enough, but if you are not already hitting the thrift stores, you are so missing out.

Finally, I completed the outfit with these Jessica Simpson’s snake band heels, which I got from Macy’s clearance rack for only $15.00. I swear, when Macy’s puts something on clearance, they don’t play around with slashing their prices. I love it!
Please share if you have some style ideas on how to wear your culottes for the fall season?

You look adorable in this outfit and that top is TDF. I also love to shop Macys clearance racks. Enjoy!
Neti,
Thank you! Yes, Macy’s clearance racks are definitely on point. They are sometimes even more thrifty than a thrift store with their mark downs. Thank you for stopping by.
Such an amazing look on you! Love this outfit. http://www.lovesthefind.com/
