Welcome to the stage your LBD’s little sister, the LWD, aka the little white dress. Similar to your little black dress, the little white dress is a classic beauty. However, as the weather warms up, the little white dress is lighter, carefree and frankly more appealing than your little black dress. The LWD is a spring and summer staple as it’s the best way to instantly create a fresh, crisp and chic look.
There are plenty of ways to wear and customize your little white dress. The beauty of this crisp staple is that it goes with anything, you can dress it up or down, you can go all-out on the accessories, but you can also just throw on some beautiful heels and look polished and stylish. That no-effort factor is what makes the little white dress my fave.
I found this beautiful crochet dress at Asos on sale for $25 on sale, marked down from $58. You should know that I am allergic to paying full price, so of course, getting this beauty on sale made me even more excited to open the package. I immediately fell in love with the scalloped hems, the length is perfect and it’s a dress that I can see myself wearing to so many different occasions in the summer.
Keeping this look fresh and crisp, I paired my little white dress with these gorgeous black and white Jimmy Choo heels. I found these heels at a consignment store, Renaissance Fine Consignment while vacationing in Santa Barbara, CA. These are a pair of classic black and white, sexy heels that can be styled with hundreds of different outfits. If you know your designers, you already know that a pair of Jimmy Choo heels can run over $500 for a pair. Splurging on these beauties, I paid $125. I know for some of you reading this post, you thing that is a lot of money. However, every girl needs a couple pairs of high end designer shoes…and bags.
Paired this look with a black vintage clutch that I thrifted from Salvation Army for $1.50. Thrift stores boxes are the best place to search through for vintage purses. Of course, their prices are always going to blow you away. I choose a simple clutch to allow my little white dress to shine.
Add a pair of round sunnies and this unique bracelet and this outfit was ready for showtime!
