Long cardigans can sometimes be a little challenging to style. However, when I found this tan, light weight cardigan in the racks of my favorite consignment shop in San Diego, Buffalo Exchange, I was determined to figure out how to rock this piece in the spring. I especially love that it goes all the way down to my ankles. For me, the length makes this cardigan totally stand out.
This cardigan set me back only $8 as it was 50% off on the day that I purchased it. As I said above, the material is very light weight and the perfect piece for me during the spring, as I often get cold in the evenings. The tan color is also very versatile and probably can be styled with almost anything. I am still working on some other ways to rock this, so standby for future posts featuring this piece.
I decided on a tan and grey combo. These Aeropostale grey, animal print skinny jeans were thrifted at Hope thrift store in San Diego for only $2.00. Great fit, super soft, and excellent price. However, the draw for me was the fact that I had never seen grey animal print jeans before. Unique –won’t you say?

I added this grey Anne Taylor tank top with the outfit. The lace embellishment on the top is the reason I thrifted this particular tank top from the Salvation Army for $5.

Going with the tan and grey look, I completed this outfit with these thrifted BCBG tan and grey snakeskin print heels. These heels were a fab find for me at Valley Thrift in Escondido, CA. Someone else saw them first, and if you are reading this and you are a true thrifter, you know the etiquette is to wait patiently and hope that the person don’t want them, or they can’t fit – :). Alas, they were meant to be mine, because they didn’t fit her and back on the rack they went. I scooped them up immediately. The price of $7.95 also sealed the deal that they were meant to be mine. Additionally, I have worn these heels many times and they are super comfortable!
Finally, this super cute tan and brown clutch completed the outfit. I purchased this clutch from Valley Thrift, same store where the heels came from, for only $2.95. It’s such a cute piece that can be worn with so many various outfits.

Thank you! I was way too happy when I saw it on the rack. Like, why would someone give this up, and more importantly, why hadn’t someone else snatched it up. lol.
