Ah….the perfect Navy blazer! I have been searching everywhere for the perfect navy blazer and while I have definitely seen them in many retail stores, I was just not ready to give in and pay retail prices. If you are a fashionista of any sorts, you already know that a good blazer can start at approximately $75 and go much higher depending on the brand.
Therefore, you could only imagine the scream I suppressed in the dressing room of My Sister’s Closet when I came across this Ralph Lauren navy blazer with gold buttons, which had a tag price of $13. Yes, you read that right, this gorgeous, Ralph Lauren navy blazer cost me $13. I can tell you that My Sister’s Closet is definitely a place I have to hold back on visiting often, because I always find a ton of great items, at awesome prices. And, if you are asking yourself, this is not a sponsored post.
I love the details of this navy blazer. The gold buttons, and the peplum-like ruffle in the back is simply extra special, won’t you say. After doing a quick google research, this Ralph Lauren navy blazer retails at $189. I got mine for $13 – yes, that is considered a definite score!
I styled this navy blazer with this white tee from Kit and Ace. It’s the softest shirt I own, and that would have to do with the fact that it’s technical cashmere. What does that mean to me — no more trips to the dry cleaners as this tee can be thrown into the dryer. I received this tee as a gift for attending a blogger’s event here in San Diego. It is now my absolute favorite white tee.
Since I wanted a casual outfit for this navy blazer, I went with these high waisted jeans that I thrifted from a Goodwill in Los Angeles for $4.99. I have to admit to you that whenever I am in a new city, I quickly look up the nearest thrift or consignment stores. Finding treasures at your local thrift stores is one thing, but there is even more of an appeal when you are able to score something while out of town. These denim jeans were definitely too short for me, but fit so perfectly everywhere else. A simple cuff solved the issue, won’t you say?
Lastly, rounding out this outfit, are these super cute striped Kate Spade heels. I picked these up from My Sister’s Closet as well, but not on the same trip when I bought the navy blazer. The heels were marked down on the day that I got them to $45. I definitely could not pass up some Kate Spade’s at that price. The heels go perfectly with this navy blazer won’t you agree?
Love, love, love your style. Your blog is amazing! Would love it if you could check out my blog and give me some feedback. Cheers, Michele
The blazer looks amazing! Really goes well with your jeans and heels! Fabulous!
IDK which I love more, the blazer or pants. You look GREAT! Love how you styled everything.

Love the blazer. I wish I had the patience to thrift. I go into a store, stay about 5 minutes and then I can’t do it anymore. You make me think I need to spend more time exploring.
Super cute outfit!! And that blazer…what a steal! Thrift stores in NYC are so expensive, so looking forward to hitting up my staples in my hometown of LA over the holidays.
