The weather in San Diego is simply fabulous! I get to wear whatever I want to, most times of the year. Yes, in the mornings and evenings it could be a little chilly, but that is fine as I am able to pull out some sweaters and jackets and change up my style. However, on this particular day in April, the sun shined through my windows in the early morning and I immediately knew that it was going to be a warm day. I grabbed this thrifted yellow mini skirt and stared at the blouses in my closet. I first reached for a white blouse. But, feeling a little daring today, I scanned the other colors in my closet. My closet is organized by colors. I love this type of organization as I am able to see how things would be paired with each other a little easily. Scanning the closet, my eyes landed on this this beautiful silk blue blouse, of course thrifted. One of the best things about thrift shops is the abundance of blouses in various colors, and they are normally at the lowest price point in the store. I immediately knew this was the outfit for the day. Paired with some flats, because I simply cannot wear heels everyday, and my splurge for the season, a Coach pocketbook. I love how the colors are a striking contrast with each, and with my complexion, it simply popped.
