I love prints — and finding them in a thrift or consignment shop is really exciting for me. I know for many people, prints can be really intimidating. However, I have to tell you, prints bring an outfit to another level for me. I found this beautiful print skirt at the Salvation Army for $4.00. The print is funky. The colors are gorgeous. The length is perfect. And the price is FABULOUS!!!!
I have said it before, but will continue to repeat myself. Trying out a new style or trying something out of your comfort zone is a lot easier when you purchase the pieces from a thrift or consignment shop. For one, if you enter a thrift shop you can probably spot so many trends, patterns, prints and styles in a few minutes. Second, if you do decide to try something new, you are surely not going to spend a lot. Lastly, if you do realize that trying new things are not always bad, you can always head back to the thrift store to find more items at a very reasonable price.

I added this cute “Hi-Bye” tee with the skirt. The blues in the skirt are identical to the blue tee which I purchased at Ross Dress for Less on clearance (of course :)) for $6.99. Such a cute tee, won’t you say?
Colorful print and colored tee, of course I needed to go with the nude pumps. I wore these nude pumps here before. These I.N.C. International Concepts pumps were a definite steal at Macy’s. Found in the clearance rack section, with an additional 30% off due to a close out sale, and a 10% off because I used my Macy’s credit card, I got these pumps for $14.00. Yes ma’am, SCORE! They are actually very comfortable with soft padding. I completed the outfit with some accessories which I also thrifted in various locations over the years.

Stefany,
Don’t be intimidated. Prints can be a little daunting at times but with the right top, you will come to love them.

Karissa,
Thank you!
You’ve nailed it again, chic! This shade of blue looks amazing on you! I love the print and color combo of the skirt. I would have never thought to pair it with a graphic tee…probably would have went with a red top but I LOVE that tee with the skirt! Takes it to a whole other level!

I love the whole outfit! I will admit, I am not much of a thrifter. And I don’t know why since I’m like ALL about bargains. I think I’m going to have to make some time soon to go find myself awesome like your skirt!
Trish,
If you are all about the bargains then you definitely need to give thrifting a chance. The bargains to be had in a thrift shop are unreal!

Yay!!!! Another print lover..lol. I have mixed the skirt with other prints and fantastic look as well! Thank you for stopping by.
I usually play it safe with prints, but I should reconsider. This is really classy. Love it.
You should definitely reconsider not wearing prints. There are some “safe” prints anyway! Try it out by heading to your nearest thrift/consignment shop. If you hate it, you would not have wasted a lot of money.
That skirt is gorgeous!
Jemma,
Thank you! I was so excited when I saw it at the thrift store.
Fabulous! I love the pattern on the skirt and Hi! Bye! Tee. Super Cute!
