I have finally come to the last outfit in my denim series — thrifted denim shirt + pattern + studs! Using this peplum denim shirt, I styled it with a beautiful lace skirt in my last post.
Here I wanted to style a little black mini skirt that I had thrifted last year in Washington D.C. Now, I am not the most comfortable wearing mini skirts- more power to the ladies that pull it off without a second thought. But, I am not averse to trying it out once in a while. One major fashion rule I stick with is that where I am exposing the legs, then I am going to cover up on top. I feel less self-conscious this way. I love this patterned shirt that I got from Forever 21. Believe it or not, the patterned shirt is actually a peplum shirt, but, it did not look right having two peplum shirts competing with each other this little mini skirt.
I added my denim shirt over the outfit for layering and loved how everything came together. 
Now, check out the “hardware” in the heels, pocketbook and earrings! I thrifted both the Guess heels and studded bag at completely different places and times! However, they go so well together especially with this outfit. Don’t you think?

Look at you…Super cute! It was funny you mentioned about showing your legs. Because all of your posts have been somewhat legless…lol..but, it’s a good look for you.
